Part-Time Shift(s): Varied Hours


Working as Part-Time Vehicle Maintenance, you will perform general maintenance on diesel equipment.


The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Providing excellent service while supporting maintenance needs

o Performing oil changes and maintenance on tires, brakes, and detailing for company vehicles


The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o 18 years of age or over

o A valid driver's license and ability to meet our driving record requirements

o Mechanically inclined

o Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

o Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

o Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs

o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)


o Possess or are currently in progress of obtaining a Class A Commercial Driver's License.

This role will be responsible for promoting TBB Electric Vehicle products as well as consulting with dealers and customers on infrastructure, funding opportunities and energy company relationships. Responsibilities * Conduct regular visits to dealers and direct accounts as required. * Participate in allocating company resources to create high potential EV markets with the goal of creating an industry leading positon. * Regular travel in field consulting with Dealers and Direct accounts (up to 50%). * Develop and maintain required product knowledge of all TBB EV products. * Work closely with the Manager of Sales Education to conduct training seminars and provide selling tools to the dealer and direct sales teams (internal and external). * Develop, communicate, and consult with dealers/customers as to the required infrastructure knowledge as it pertains to charging stations, energy grid requirements and funding sources/opportunities for EV applications. * Conduct customer demonstrations to key and target accounts highlighting the key features of our EV products. * Develop and maintain product, infrastructure and energy grid presentations that will be used by dealer and direct account personnel. * Collaborate with TBB Sales, Service and Market Growth Development personnel to effectively plan for dealer requirements to be successful in the EV market. * Provide regular call reports as required. * Provide technical sales support and/or business management expertise to resolve customer satisfaction issues or product concerns in concert with the Dealership. Maintain positive working relationships between TBB and all Dealers. * Collaborate with Daimler EMG personnel to stay abreast of all corporate EV initiatives and report as required to TBB management. * Work closely with TBB Product Planning and Engineering to provide Dealers and Customers with needed option content and pricing to meet bid specifications and remain competitive with the product offerings of other manufacturers. * Represent TBB at State, Local school bus industry Trade shows and events; support dealer local marketing efforts, and participate in National trade events and the annual Thomas Built Bus national dealer meeting. * Participate in organizations or associations pertaining to the school bus industry. * All other duties as may be assigned by supervisor or Thomas Built Bus management. * Bachelor's degree from an accredited school with 2 years of related experience OR an associate's degree with 4 years of related experience OR 8 years of related experience and high school diploma (or equivalent) required * A degree focused in Electrical, Automotive, or Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration - technical sales exp required * At least 1 year of group leader, project lead, or mentoring experience required * Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point and SalesForce), management, and organizational skills required * Excellent written and oral communication skills required * Sales experience required * Experience in a mechanical or technically-oriented role preferred * Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one within 1 year of hire preferred * An attached resume is required * Some travel required Additional Information * Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. at the time of application * Final candidate must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check * EEO/Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans For an accommodation or special assistance with applying for a posted position, please contact our Human Resources department at 503-745-8982 or toll free 800-206-3369.
