About the Employer

We are a unified school district serving more than 16,150 students in grades K -12. We have thirteen elementary schools, four middle schools, two comprehensive high schools, three specialized high schools, two alternative high schools and one K-8 school.

We also offer a home schooling program, adult education courses and other unique programs to fit the needs of all students. Our school district employs approximately 1,100 certificated and nearly 900 classified employees. Step A $6,478, Step B $6,806, Step C $7,150, Step D $7,512, Step E $7,892, Step F $8,292 Promotional/Open: The promotional group as well as the public may apply. The promotional side of the eligibility list shall take precedence when certifying eligibles.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Valid California Class B commercial driver's license with air brake and passenger endorsements. Valid Medical Card. Required Strength Testing: All offers of employment are conditional upon the applicant's satisfactory results of the Post Offer, Pre-Placement Physical Evaluation Program (PEP). This physical strength test helps us select employee candidates that have demonstrated a minimum level of strength to perform the essential functions of the job.
