Job Description
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to [Milford, MI] three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business].
The Role
The Vehicle Content Verification (VCV) Analyst orchestrates software and hardware updates for pre-production and saleable engineering fleet vehicles. This requires daily communication with the respective Vehicle Performance Team, Controls Manager, Controls Integration Engineer, Movimento Technicians, Development Technicians, and Fleet Coordinators. The VCV Analyst develops and coordinates weekly schedules for vehicles, modules and parts from suppliers, Vescom updates from supplier and internal software owners, and garage resources.
What You'll Do
Lead all aspects of vehicle software update requests to Movimento (direction from Lead Development Engineer (LDE) and Controls Manager (CM).
Provide weekly review of Vehicle Content Verification (VCV) in vehicle user team meetings (SPUF, VPIT, team meetings).
Interact with retrofit and Fleet Coordinators, Controls Managers, and Controls Integration Engineers as required to maintain VCV.
Integrate hardware and software fidelity lists into VCV from the first IVER vehicle build through start of regular production (SORP), including any subsequent calibration changes.
Work with Vehicle Program Fleet Coordinator for vehicle scheduling of software/hardware updates.
Support vehicle preparation and vehicle hardware/software readiness for any special evaluations and vehicle development plan-based BOR events.
Additional Job Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Associate technical degree required in general technical sciences or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience with automotive vehicle retrofit or content analysis
Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive/vehicle component knowledge
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
Ability to navigate various websites including warranty, corporate vehicle tracking systems, and Controls Manager-related sources
Experience with Share Point, data entry/management and Samsung ride tablets
Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and document tasks
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
Proven ability to successfully accomplish tasks under minimal direction

Bachelors degree in a technical area
4 years of experience in automotive/vehicle component knowledge
