This is a full time float position for a registered Vascular Technologist. Equipment includes:
Philips IU22/EPIQ, Parks, and Vasculab. Team oriented workplace working alongside knowledgeable and dependable vascular Sonographers of varying experience levels. Studies include:
Venous, Arterial, Carotid, Renal, Mesenteric, Portal, Aorta/Iliac, EVAR, mappings, insufficiency testing, and A-V Fistulas. Coverage includes both inpatient and outpatient vascular testing. Coverage hours: inpatient 6 am - 11pm 7 days a week some of which may be on-call. Vascular Surgery Clinics are open 7:30a-6p and are located in Puyallup, Tacoma, and Auburn.
Position Summary
The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing technical non-invasive vascular procedures, assuring quality test results to assist physicians with the diagnosis of vascular disorders. This position works at a technical level under limited supervision, independently performing vascular procedures.
Work situations require vascular expertise, analysis, and the use of discretion and good judgement in decision making. The Vascular Imaging Technologist has knowledge and understanding of age related care needs for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. External contacts include patients, family members, and physicians. Internal contacts include nursing service staff and management.
Requirements
Minimum two (2) years college course work preferred
Satisfactory completion of RVT certification examination and/or ARDMS becoming a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
Minimum two (2) years of experience in vascular imaging preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position.
The pay scale is $43.19 - $71.39 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
