The Vascular Technologist, Non-Invasive Cardiology, reports directly to the Supervisor, Non-Invasive Cardiology, and utilizes specialized knowledge, skills and equipment by the order of a qualified physician to perform diagnostic tests providing data of the patients' complete or specific peripheral vascular or cerebrovascular system. Vascular technology is a field recognized as being capable of performing examinations without direct physician supervision.
The technologist, through subjective and/or recording of data, proceeds with the established methodology of diagnostic examinations, creating a foundation from which a correct anatomic and physiological diagnosis can be developed for the individual patient when compared with the physician's clinical diagnosis.

Vascular Technologist PRN/Varied Vascular Laboratory
High School graduate
2 years college and Registered Vascular Technologist certificate or registry eligible.
Previous hospital experience with regular patient contact desired
4 years' experience in the vascular field desired
