• Shift: Day Shift; Shift hours with rotation 7:30am

• will float to off sites

• Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required

We are searching for a Vascular Sonographer to perform a variety of technical procedures that involves the application of high frequency ultrasound waves to patients for diagnostic purpose, will exercise a high degree of precision, skill and judgment, and will demonstrate sound knowledge of vascular anatomy, and physiology, Doppler physics/instrumentation, ultrasound physics and instrumentation. The sonographer is expected to have or pursue the appropriate certifications in vascular technology. Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Provide functional or technical supervision of ultrasound aides, other assigned non-technical employees and other practitioners, as applicable. Provide supervision and instruction to assigned affiliating students.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Vascular Technology Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) is required

• A registered or registry eligible vascular sonographer is required

• A minimum of two years of experience is required
