VARSITY FOOTBALL HEAD COACH

Season Start Date: August 24, 2024

Season Duration: Approximately 8-10 weeks

Practices: 5-6 days per week (3:30 pm start once school begins)

Primarily 9th - 12th grade students

Starting Stipend/Step Range: $6,435-$8,565

Requirements

• Successful coaching experience

• A passion for athletic competition and the ability to motivate and inspire athletes

• Personal traits appropriate for nurturing the growth of children

• First Aid/CPR/AED for Coaches Certification

• Violence Prevention Certification

• CDC - "Heads Up" Concussion Certification

• NYSED Teaching or Coaching License

• NYSED Fingerprint Clearance

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

• Work with the assistant coaches with practice, game schedules, and inventory

• Supervision of students

• Oversight of the development and progress of each child

• Communication with parents

• Collaborative work with Athletic Department colleagues, faculty, staff, & the school community
