PASSENGER VEHICLE DRIVER

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Previous experience driving passenger vans or similar vehicles preferred.

Excellent driving skills, with a strong emphasis on safety and defensive driving techniques.

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in various situations.

Must pass a background check

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The passenger vehicle driver will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from designated locations. The ideal candidate will prioritize the safety and well-being of passengers while maintaining a punctual schedule.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safely transport students to and from school-related activities, such as field trips, athletic events, and other off-campus events.

Ensure the safety of passengers by adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as school policies and procedures related to transportation.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the passenger vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition, reporting any issues to the director of transportation.

Communicate effectively with passengers to provide information about pick-up and drop-off times, routes, and any other relevant details.

Respond calmly and effectively to any emergencies or unexpected situations that may arise during transportation.

Attend training sessions and meetings as required by the school administration.
