Ceco (an ASSA ABLOY brand) is expanding the Operations Management Team. We are recruiting for a Value Stream Manager that will be based on-site out of our manufacturing facility located in Milan, Tennessee.

What would you do as our Value Stream Manager?

You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end value stream within our manufacturing operations. Your primary goal will be to ensure the efficient flow of materials and information from suppliers through production to delivery, enhancing productivity, reducing waste, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will help to develop and maintain a work force capable of meeting manufacturing requirements in accordance with production and delivery schedules while maintaining and fostering a positive working environment.

You would also:

• Lead and manage the value stream to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale.

• Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency within the value stream.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues impacting the value stream such as: bottlenecks in production process, quality, supply chain disruptions, workflow layout, equipment downtime, inventory, capacity planning, production scheduling, safety, customer satisfaction and overall plant performance.

• Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles and tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Conduct regular value stream mapping exercises to identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans.

• Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and capabilities in Lean principles and practices and increase production volume, cost, quality, and need for meeting production schedules.

• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and manage value stream budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.

• May initiate and recommend purchases of new capital equipment.

• Perform other duties and special projects as required.

• Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.

• Comply and enforce compliance of all state and federal regulations, Company standards and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

The Skills and Experience we're looking for:

• High School Diploma/GED required.

• Minimum of five (5) years of operational leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.

• Proven experience in value stream management, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Previous work in a manufacturing environment that specializes in metal forming or a highly configured product preferred.

• Previous success in improving employee satisfaction of the work life experience.

• Comfortable with and enjoys being a daily presence on the manufacturing floor, actively engaging employees at all levels.
