Validation Specialist II (Carmel, IN Or Dakota Dunes, SD)

The core responsibilities of the Validation Specialist II include but are not limited to performing Outbound Calls to Insurance Agents/Regional offices or utilizing various electronic means such as websites for verification of loan collateral coverage. Works with vehicle and mortgage outbound calls. This position will be responsible for reviewing and cancelling force placed auto collateral protection insurance with high quality expectations that do not result in a loss of premium for Allied.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Verifications of Cancel Pending (60%):

• Performing Outbound Calls to Insurance Agents/Regional offices or utilizing various electronic means such as websites for verification of loan collateral coverage.

• Review insurance policies for compliance and with lender requirements as well as cancel vehicle CPI policies, that does not result in loss of premium for Allied.

Verifications of OBC (10%):

• Performing Outbound Calls to Insurance Agents/Regional offices or utilizing various electronic means such as websites for verification of loan collateral coverage.

• Works with vehicle and mortgage outbound calls.

Research (10%):

• Ability to read and understand insurance documents for both auto and mortgage, in loan history, to perform the correct task that is needed for that loan while following lender particulars.

Standards (10%):

• Has the ability to meet the department goal of 8 accounts per hour by performing website verifications and phone calls to insurance agents.

• Needs the ability to be able to multitask to assist the department in meeting our department SLA's of 95% in 7 days completed.

Quality (10%):

• Consistently obtain 90% or higher on all quality audits by understanding and reviewing procedure manuals.

• Ability to identify, document, and report any learning opportunities to higher management.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):

• High School Diploma required

• 1-2 years of directly related work experience required

• Use of clear, concise, and effective oral communication; accurately composes written materials as required by the position.

• Handle confidential information in a responsible manner.

• Ability to convey thoughts in a focused and concrete manner.

• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems.

• Adaptable to change and has the ability to make independent decisions.

• Ability to self-prioritize and has strong organization workflow skills.

• Ability to meet service level expectations.
