JOB SUMMARY

The Valet Attendant is responsible for providing industry-leading service and caring interactions with all guests and patrons of a location. When operating guest vehicles, the paramount concern is safety and compliance with state and local laws while anticipating your next move to keep up with the demands of the operation. The Valet Attendant works closely with the location leader and shift supervisor to ensure that AmeriPark quality standards are met and exceeded within the location's operations. This position is a hands-on role that requires excellent customer service skills and vehicle operating proficiency in a physically demanding environment.

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITY

  • Exceed service expectations of the guest by executing the company mission statement, "Winning through Service"

  • Communicate professionally at all times with guests, the client, and your teammates

  • Smile and exude a pleasant and friendly demeanor

  • Meet and greet all guests upon arrival, opening guest vehicle doors, assisting with unloading vehicle when necessary

  • Fulfill the brand promise, offering Timely Service, Confident execution of your job duties, and Caring Interactions

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITY

  • Ensure safe and appropriate operation of guest vehicles

  • Direct traffic when necessary

  • Anticipate and proactively prepare with your team for substantial arrival or departure traffic

  • Constantly evaluate opportunities for self-development

  • Arrive to work prior to your scheduled shift, ready to work at the time scheduled

  • Work with your teammates to cover all scheduled shifts

  • Read and react to the weekly email from the location manager

  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance, following grooming and appearance policy guidelines

  • Immediately report any incidents or claims to your supervisor

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

  • Request and collect relevant fees for use of service

  • Assist in reconciling end of shift revenue against the ticket distribution with your supervisor

RequirementsRequirements

  • Must pass a criminal background check

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

  • Must pass AmeriPark driving test

  • Must pass AmeriPark fitness test

  • Must hold a valid driver's license in the state of application with a clean driving record

  • Bi-lingual a plus

Job Description To provide responsible care of luggage service, parking/return of vehicle, keys, and prompt, courteous service for all guests throughout the hotel stay. The Valet | Bellperson should ensure pleasurable accommodations and efficient handling of all guest needs. Responsibilities * Follow Moments of Service or Forbes standards during every interaction with guests * Assist guest with parking their vehicle which involves issuing a completed claim ticket, and parking that vehicle in a designated parking space. This includes the ability to operate all standard motor vehicles, safely and in very limited parking area * Retrieve guest's vehicles within a timely manner * Assist guests with luggage from vehicle to room and proper storage of luggage per guest request * Delivering of messages * Recommending different dining establishments, entertainment spots, and shopping centers. Including directions to popular destinations. Qualifications * Excellent customer service, communication and problem solving skills * Previous Valet/Bellperson experience preferred * Excellent grooming and body language to represent the brand * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions * Ability to lift, push, and pull 100 - 150 lbs. frequently, and work on feet entire shift * Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmission * Must have a valid TX driver's license * Must have an excellent driving record (less than 2 moving violations in the last two years) * Must be at least 21 years of age * Must have alcohol training certification (TABC) * Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays Omni Hotels San Antonio TX
