The SMP Operations segment of PCC Airfoils consists of two manufacturing locations - Wickliffe and Eastlake, Ohio. SMP manufactures investment castings utilizing proprietary technology for use in aerospace and industrial gas turbine engines. Products and systems manufactured in these operations must meet extremely close tolerance limits and adhere to customer specifications. The operations are expanding due to sales volume increase and this provides unique opportunities for career growth and development:
Responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of vacuum furnaces.
Responsible for the completion of PM's and regular oil changes on the vacuum furnaces.
Assist foundry operators with furnace graphite maintenance as required by supervision.
Assist in other plant maintenance work as required by supervision.
Repair and maintain other plant equipment as experience indicates.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors.
General knowledge of vacuum furnace operation and repair.
Experience in general maintenance of plant equipment.
Background in hydraulics plumbing, pip fitting, welding, and soldering needed.
Electrical and electronics experience required to repair furnace controls.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
