Position Summary:

The VA Credit Policy Manager will be responsible for the development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of all Credit Policies, Credit Procedures, and Credit Processes. The Manager will ensure that all credit related practices adopted by the Bank are in full compliance with Regulatory guidance and conform to Safe and Sound Banking practices. Support executive management by developing and maintaining credit risk measurements.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily workflow related to product development, credit policy communications, and product training

  • Responsible for development of credit policy, quality loan decisions

  • Work closely with Mortgage Operations and management to ensure staff is aware of and following all established program and policy requirements of each investor and/or agency and insurer

  • Act as a resource to both underwriting and production staff and provide information regarding changes to investor and/or guarantor policies and procedures

  • Performs second reviews for new underwriters and new loan programs as well as declined loans from Underwriter or QC

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate advanced product knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional and other loan programs such as 2nd Mortgages, and Home Improvement.

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of federal and state guidelines, rules and regulations such as RESPA, TILA, HMDA, etc.

  • Advanced ability to analyze complex tax returns and accurately calculate income for all types of borrowers.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, customer service, and communication with all parties involved in the loan cycle.

  • Proficient with Encompass, or other paperless mortgage loan origination systems.

  • Understanding of all compliance regulations and investor guidelines.

  • Extreme knowledge of Fannie/Freddie Guidelines

  • Underwritten Fannie/Freddie for the past 5 years.

Desired Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related area; or a minimum of seven to ten years' experience as a manager in the mortgage industry.

  • Must have current HUD designated CHUMS number. VA SAR/LAPP designation preferred.

Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.

All Personal Trainers report directly to the PTM. The APTM needs to train and develop their team members to consistently deliver on the vision and mission, and execute the basics in areas such as punctuality, dress code compliance, friendliness and cleanliness.The APTM is the point of reference for fitness expertise within the club. SERVICE [45% OF TIME]The APTM position is a player-coach position and trains clients 10 session hours per week according to their compensation plan. FITNESS MANAGEMENT [10% OF TIME]Ensure that the club runs and operates smoothly.
