Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking for an experienced MRB engineer to join the V-22 mod team providing electrical engineering support, shipside to the V-22 fleet at Hurlburt Field in Florida. This position will be a part of the Boeing Global Services division and will support aircraft modifications, the disposition of in-service damage from the field as well as interface with the design team at the Boeing Philadelphia plant. The position will be located on base at Hurlburt Field, FL.

A successful candidate will understand the importance of clear communication with the mod team as well as have the same sense of urgency that the technicians do for getting the job done. This person will be a collaborator between aircraft technicians and the design team to ensure dispositions are feasible to perform as well as meet all design requirements for the aircraft.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies broad knowledge of Boeing design and/or engineering principles.

  • Assesses and resolves product/process issues through the product lifecycle.

  • Conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances.

  • Evaluates and dispositions non-conformances submitted by shop personnel for electrical hardware.

  • Coordinates with design team for feasibility of aircraft modifications.

  • Effectively communicates with shop personnel to understand the nature of discrepancies written up as well as to coordinate dispositions that can be efficiently implemented.

  • Reports to management and customers the results of investigations and disposition plans.

  • Develops customer correspondence for continued safe operation and recommended maintenance of equipment.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Export Control Requirement:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Aircraft Electrical Systems and wiring

  • Great communication skills and teamwork

  • 3+ years of Material Review Board membership

  • Secret Clearance required

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Familiarity with V-22 wiring and electrical systems

  • Liaison Engineering experience is a plus

Typical Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required

  • ABET preferred but not required

This position will provide basic relocation package.

This position will support the V-22 modline on Hurlburt Field. Engineer will work with shop personnel to evaluate installation issues encountered during aircraft modifications, disposition damaged electrical components to include wiring from fielded aircraft and provide direction to shop personnel in support of aircraft maintenance. Position will require MRB authority, secret clearance and familiarity with V-22 wiring and electrical systems.
