This UX Writer position requires someone with strong experience in Product and Marketing with exceptional writing skills. This person is well versed in the product development cycle, has a solid user centered and product design process, and has a diverse and extensive portfolio of work from large scale products to incubation products. This person is creative in their problem-solving solutions, can articulate a strong content point-of-view, and can inspire a team multi-disciplinary people. Most importantly this person will be a driver of change, open to new possibilities, impact oriented, and a great culture fit.
Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, Screenwriting, English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, UX, HCI, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience on user-focused product writing including work in hardware, software, digital agency, or other relevant product area.
Experience in shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects.
A portfolio of UX-focused writing samples.
Experience developing information architecture for complex product suites. Experience with localization and accessibility best practices.
Knowledge of online technology and related products, including web and mobile UI and tools.
Familiarity with user experience research principles and practices and how to use data to provide informed user insights.
Ability to lead, collaborate and influence (without formal authority) engineering, design and product management teams.
Experience writing on brand and helping define a brand voice and/or in writing for interactive technology in a character or brand voice.
Conversational A.I., scriptwriting, and character writing is a huge plus.
A portfolio demonstrating breadth and creativity and proven experience in content writing, telling stories and UX writing. Please indicate your specific roles and contributions for each project submitted as part of the portfolio.

Use writing and editing skills to write conversational UI text that facilitates user navigation, as well onboarding, promos, error messages, instructional materials, and marketing materials and other components of the end-to-end user experience.
Drive vision for product language and content across a product or subject-matter domain, and ensure cohesive product narratives; Document your strategies with guidelines, and establish best practices and strategy principles.
Manage projects from needs assessment to implementation; identify opportunities, establish priorities, secure resources, and manage stakeholders.
Collaborate with designers, researchers, legal, marketing, product managers, and engineers; Influence and adapt to stakeholders and their feedback.
Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to educate cross-functional partners on the role of UX writing, brand voice and tone, and content strategy throughout the product development process.
