UX Researcher/Designer

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Duration: Fulltime

Description:

  • Lead the creation of the user experience design

  • Proficient with qualitative and quantitative research methods such as ethnography field studies, interviews/observations, surveys, usability studies/testing, system metrics assessments

  • Experienced in defining, creating, and maintaining personas and journey/experience maps. Ideally, experience with enterprise level journey mapping

  • Ability to assess product/project context and plan the application of appropriate UX practices. Also, possess the ability to lead other UX roles.

  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with Product Management to ensure strong and effective integration of UX

  • Manage and/or build prototypes using various types; sketching, storyboarding, wireframing, and digital, with an ability to apply the appropriate level of fidelity within a given context

  • Experience with Information Architecture, Usability, User Flows, and Navigation

  • Ability to plan, lead, facilitate Design Sprints/workshops

  • Lead and/or assist with developing UX Design process maturity in the areas of process, techniques, tools, and templates

  • Work iteratively and rapidly, and possess the ability to manage and work on various activities

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of technology experience
5 years of UX research and design experience
3 years of experience in a lead role
5 years of relevant experience in Information Technology, Information Systems or Product Management
5 years of technical business consulting, business analysis or product design experience
3 years of strategic development experience
