This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Your specific duties as a UX Researcher will include
UX research for ISG Product Design. Statistical tools used are SAS, R, and SPSS.
Uses appropriate research methodology, tools, and protocols to conduct user-centered research.
Performs subjective and objective research both qualitatively and quantitatively, to gather deep end-user understanding.
Leverages appropriate personas and ensures testing covers representative user populations and personas.
Performs usability/heuristic evaluations and validations across the product or solution life-cycle.
Communicates research insights resulting in recommendations and priorities for user-centric design.
Defines the most usable workflows that align with the explicit design philosophy for products and/or solutions.
As a UX Researcher you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Two or more years of experience planning and conducting concept validation activities such as usability tests, interviews, focus groups, and contextual inquiry.
Two or more years of research or practical experience collecting user data, including the methodology design, statistical analysis, and interpretation of the results.
Two or more years of experience applying basic, theoretical Human Factors and/or Human-Computer Interaction principles to complex engineering problems to create innovative solutions with an intentional User Experience.
Two or more years of experience using statistical software packages tailored to the behavioral sciences (e.g. regression, ANOVA, modeling).
Bachelors of Arts/Science in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
Master's degree strongly preferred in any of the following: Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
