Compensation (Hourly Range)*:

$48/hr. - $52/hr.

If you are an experienced UX Researcher looking for a position with a leading company, Bartech can help! We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some over the nation's biggest companies. Our client has a need for a UX Researcher. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Job Responsibilities

Your specific duties as a UX Researcher will include

  • UX research for ISG Product Design. Statistical tools used are SAS, R, and SPSS.

  • Uses appropriate research methodology, tools, and protocols to conduct user-centered research.

  • Performs subjective and objective research both qualitatively and quantitatively, to gather deep end-user understanding.

  • Leverages appropriate personas and ensures testing covers representative user populations and personas.

  • Performs usability/heuristic evaluations and validations across the product or solution life-cycle.

  • Communicates research insights resulting in recommendations and priorities for user-centric design.

  • Defines the most usable workflows that align with the explicit design philosophy for products and/or solutions.

Job Requirements

As a UX Researcher you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Two or more years of experience planning and conducting concept validation activities such as usability tests, interviews, focus groups, and contextual inquiry.

  • Two or more years of research or practical experience collecting user data, including the methodology design, statistical analysis, and interpretation of the results.

  • Two or more years of experience applying basic, theoretical Human Factors and/or Human-Computer Interaction principles to complex engineering problems to create innovative solutions with an intentional User Experience.

  • Two or more years of experience using statistical software packages tailored to the behavioral sciences (e.g. regression, ANOVA, modeling).

  • Bachelors of Arts/Science in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.

  • Master's degree strongly preferred in any of the following: Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
