Job Description

This is an intermediate level position which requires professional qualification. The UX Researcher will be responsible for conducting, analyzing, and reporting on user-centered design research and usability testing for the company's software products. The UX Researcher is expected to learn on the job towards developing domain and product knowledge along with technical/proprietary skills.


  • Conduct usability research both online and in the field and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Serve as a member of a team that acts as a 'repository' of research-based usability knowledge.

  • Partners with the UX teams for planning and design.

  • Work with project business representatives and team members to test business requirements using heuristic/qualitative methods. Manages and mentors the UX team.

  • Determine user needs by conducting task-focused analyses.

  • Work with graphic designers to test proposed look & feel initiatives.

  • Coordinate, conduct and moderate user testing, interviews and reviews.



Bachelors degree highly preferred

Work Experience

Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent work experience. Typical range is 2-5 years.


  • Manage and conduct user research and concept development

  • Research user personas and investigate user behavior

  • Work closely with design, marketing, sales and product management teams to identify research topics

  • Participate in recruitment activities for user research

  • Help plan and implement the overall user research strategy and methods

  • Comfortable launching and iterating quickly and using data

  • In-depth understanding of UI/UX design

  • Experience with conducting user research

  • Experience with qualitative and user-centered design methodologies

  • Working knowledge of quantitative, behavioral analysis and statistics
