Utilizes User-Centered Design Methodology and Design Thinking to work with business partners, product managers, and business analysts to provide designs that meet business needs and are effective, efcient, and enjoyable
Plans and conducts customer/end-user research (contextual inquiry, ethnographic interview, focus groups) to inform strategy, guide solution denition, and determine customer/end-user needs based on direct observation of people
Conducts idea-generating sessions
Enhances design work in progress from user insights gained through research
Plans and conducts usability testing, card sorting, and heuristic reviews to validate UX designs and/or user needs.
Creates and renes HMI/UI sketches, visual designs, mock-ups, work ows, interactive prototypes, wireframes, style guides, and other artifacts to be used in the development process.
Evaluates prototypes with end-users and stakeholders.
Serves as an advocate for the customer/end-user, empathizing with them while being mindful of business goals and opportunities.
Works hands-on with team members and stakeholders to resolve questions, clarify UX designs, and deliver products
Shares learning from UX training with other coworkers in written and oral presentations.
Practices design thinking and Agile processes, and advocates for when these process can be used effectively
Supports a high-performing culture among product team members
Education / Knowledge
2-3 years of experience in Interaction Design / Prototyping /Wireframing
2-3 years of experience in UX Research / User Testing
2-3 years of experience in Visual Design
2-3 years of experience in Usability Testing
3-5 years of experience in a UI/UX/ID position
Experience with multiple design tools
Experience in an Agile development environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as facilitation and presentation skills with an engaging presentation style.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with product teams, business customers, and end-users.
