We are looking for a motivated, well organized UX Designer to help create intuitive, engaging digital experiences that are easy to use and inspiring. They must enjoy putting order to chaos in a high-energy work environment. Must be adaptable, have strong deductive reasoning, and the ability to work on their own as well as operate within a team. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
2+ years of relevant industry experience.
Experience with strategic, conceptual, and creative thinking.
Experience developing experience design, user flows, site architecture, and prototyping.
Portfolio that exemplifies strong research and a focus on defining the user experience.
Full confidence in Sketch, InVision, and other industry-standard design/prototyping tools.
Excited about working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Knowledge of strengths and shortcomings of qualitative research methods (e.g. when and how to apply them during each product phase: interviews, usability testing, diary studies, contextual inquiries) - preferred but not required
Proficiency in communicating user research findings with cross-functional partners to drive impact - preferred but not required
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead UX efforts on key projects and initiatives, raising the bar through quantitative and qualitative metrics.
Provide deliverables including prototypes, proof of concept documents, wireframes, site architecture, user flows, use cases, and user scenarios.
Design and conduct studies across important product areas, using methods such as interviews, usability testing, diary studies, contextual inquiries, and any other methods you find impactful.
Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
