We are currently seeking UWWS TEAM SUB ACIO (IT/IA/Security) Support to join our team in Washington, DC. This description covers multiple positions, and the tasks below outline multiple roles. This opportunity is contingent pending contract award.

What you'll do:

The UWWS TEAM SUB ACIO (IT/IA/Security) Support Consultant will provide technical, analytical, administrative and operational support to the Undersea Warfare (USW) Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

  • Assist TEAM SUB ACIO in performing activities required in DoD Instruction 8510.01 DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), including developing accreditation packages/ risk assessment reports/security assessment reports and performing compliance reviews and analysis of cybersecurity requirements

  • Coordinate IT services for TEAM SUB enterprise, including actions for users entering or transferring to the enterprise, coordinating assets, configuring hardware, registering Common Access Cards, maintaining asset inventories, deploying upgrades

  • Provide advice, assistance, design, development, testing, deployment and hosting in the

DISA TEAM SUB TSAP and/or FedRAMP accredited cloud environments

  • Draft CTO engagement products (to include technology roadmaps) for stakeholder audiences including Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Defense Advanced research Project Agency (DARPA), Commander Nava Submarine Forces (CSF), and Industry regarding future capability needs and S&T needs. Draft letters to Science and Technology (S&T) providers regarding priorities and project support

  • Conduct periodic assessments of S&T portfolio health and develop assessments briefs for CTO review; make recommendations for rebalancing the S&T portfolio

  • Coordinate monthly technical meetings, prioritize topics, assist in identifying forum objectives and prepare agendas; distribute read-ahead materials and briefings, draft meeting minutes and action items. Ensure action items are closed

Our ideal candidate:

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with Department of the Navy/DoD IT, Information Security and Information Assurance

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills working with all personnel involved in IT operations and technical systems
