UWCWV The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Charleston

Our after school program and other resources will produce higher graduation rates, employment, substance abuse prevention/intervention, and increase in higher education rates, all of which increase the capacity of an individual to escape intergenerational poverty. This project will help build talented volunteer pipelines in which to secure steady volunteer resources to ensure these programs are properly staffed and capable to meet increased numbers of youth and facilitate more positive outcomes. Member Duties : Want to make a difference in your community and the future of children? Join our team and serve to enhance your community. Member will recruit volunteers, build partnerships, research and write grants, develop needed resources, and solicit in-kind donations to build capacity in the organization served.
