Job Description

Peterson Trucks has an immediate need for an experienced Utility Worker at our Portland, OR location.

Job functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Organize Store Front and parking lots with Trucks and ensure the cleanliness of each area.

• Safely operate lift trucks, overhead cranes, hoists, power tools and other shop equipment in a safe manner.

• Keep yard and work areas clean and organized throughout day to ensure safe work environment.

• Assist with shop cleanliness above what Techs are required to do.

• Maintain shop equipment clean, in good working order & well maintained.

• Assist with moving disabled vehicles in and out of shop.

• Drive a company vehicle to pick up and deliver components to vendors and customers.

• Work evening and weekend overtime is required as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school education or the equivalent; and a minimum of 1 year of experience as Yard Person or other utility worker position. Basic knowledge of mechanical work preferred but not required.
