This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of task in the injection molding area as directed by the Area Supervisor. Responsibilities include working within established guidelines to assist processing personnel by staging materials for machine start up, moving finished product, disposing of process scrap and other materials as well as the set up and tear down of any post molding operations done at the molding press.
Duties and Responsibilities
Interpret production work orders and to select the proper materials and tools needed to produce acceptable product.
In -process inspection to ensure quality of product.
Retrieve and deliver molding resins, corrugated items, and other materials for all molding machines to and from stock locations to the molding area using available material handling equipment.
Report and process / move material leaving the molding area to locations as determined by either the Areas Supervisor or shop order. Includes both good product and process scrap.
Removal and disposal of generated waste generated following established guidelines.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following established housekeeping and safety practices.
All other duties as assigned.
