Facilities Engineering maintains 6 million square foot of facilities dedicated to clinical and academic functions. Role Purpose
Supports the operations of department and provides maintenance/engineering services. Performs established functions assigned to the various crafts at the entry level.
Responsibilities
Uses personal protective equipment and adheres to regulatory guidelines.
Completes preventative maintenance duties on schedule and according to department procedures.
Assists mechanics and completes minor repairs under the direction of the supervisor.
Assists supervisor with maintaining and tracking inventory of supplies, tools and equipment needed to complete work orders.

This position will be responsible for providing maintenance and improvements to the existing SCADA systems. This position will also support other Gas Operations teams in various SCADA related projects. Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible for the programming and preventative maintenance of the Spire MO East SCADA system(s) * Responsible for troubleshooting and configuring the SCADA system * Complete and track all SCADA related change management forms * Build and maintain database driven dynamic displays * Support other Gas Operations and Gas Control departments with the use of the SCADA system(s) * Assist Spire IT in monitoring and troubleshooting activities related to SCADA server and workstation hardware, performance, network infrastructure and security * Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis for servers and workstations * Perform daily monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups. * Perform tasks and activities for development, design, implementation, testing and operation of SCADA system * Design, configure and troubleshoot SCADA RTUs and cellular modems and networks * Implements and maintains SCADA related HMI graphics, reports, trends, and applications for use by Gas Control, field technicians and other departments * Ensure compliance with regulatory standards associated with PHMSA and Department of Transportation requirements * All other duties as assigned Essential Characteristics and Competencies * Ability to lead by example in support of the Company's essential characteristics and values * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines * Ability to adapt in a fast-moving and changing culture * Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet individual goals and deadlines * Ability to work as part of a team and display a positive attitude for this dynamic environment Required Education: (may include certifications, licenses and registrations) * Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred or equivalent experience * Prior work experience with SCADA systems preferred * Experience with GE iFIX, ClearSCADA and Emerson ControlWave would be a plus Required knowledge, skill and abilities: * 3 years of experience in a working with SCADA systems and/or other secure computer systems * Familiarity with control room management regulations * Proficient in Microsoft Office and database applications * Familiarity with Microsoft Reporting Services * Basic understanding of network construction using routers and switches * Working knowledge of RTU equipment, programming, communications systems and technology, Microsoft SQL, ODBC and Visual Basic applications, virtual machine software * Basic experience with server and workstation networking and administration * Ability to set up, configure serial and IP network communication devices within various infrastructures * Basic knowledge of troubleshooting software problems.
