ESG Operations is the fastest growing utility management company in the Southeast, currently providing operations services across the Southeastern United States. We are currently seeking aUtility Technician to be a part of our team in Rockdale County/Conyers, GA.Responsibilities:Performs basic installation, repair and maintenance of sewer collections/water distribution systems to include:
  • Laying pipe and ensuring it is properly installed
  • Making sure ditches are shored properly and safe to enter
  • Repairing broken lines, stubs and force mains
  • Adjusting manholes to ground level
  • Landscaping yards that have been destroyed by line installation
  • Clearing easements to provide easier access to the outfall line
Performs general housekeeping and grounds maintenance duties to include:
  • Cleaning restrooms, offices and locker rooms
  • Washing down solids, algae accumulation on basins
  • Cleaning oil and grease from equipment
  • Prepares equipment, structures and buildings for painting
  • Cutting grass, trimming, and pruning of shrubs and trees
Operates dump trucks, front-end loaders and related equipment as neededQualifications:
  • Completion of a standard high school education or its recognized equivalent
  • One year experience in sewer and/or storm water construction and maintenance, equipment operations, truck driving or manual labor
  • Must have a valid drivers license in Georgia
  • A commercial drivers license is desirable
Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous benefits and bonus plan. If the answer is YES, we have a Plant Operator position for you at our Conyers, GA plant. We are looking for an Operations Technician at our Conyers, GA plant. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting processes and equipment in a facility producing and shipping various industrial gases. Responsibilities include working within procedure based systems to ensure ES&H compliance, quality assurance, reliability, and cost control. Responsibilities * Key member of the commissioning and startup team * Learn basic safety and environmental requirements, plant operation skills, and process knowledge during the startup and commissioning of this new facility. * Starting and stopping of equipment * Process optimization * Tanker loading and unloading * Routine maintenance and troubleshooting * Participation in the site safety program and continuous improvement projects. Qualifications * High School diploma/equivalency * 2 year technical/business degree is preferred * 4 years of military training in a technical field * Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing/production, processing or chemical/ petrochemical environment. * Cryogenic plant experience is a plus. * Strong commitment to safety, working as a team and operational excellence * Participants in Skills USA are encouraged to apply. * Must be able to climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum of 50 lbs. * Must be willing to be on call to support 24x7 plant operations.
