Summary

You will serve as a UTILITY SYSTEMS REPAIRER OPERATOR in the Public Works Department, Production Division of ENGRFLDACT, NW/RESOFCHARGECONST EFA.
Responsibilities

You will Troubleshoots single and multiple fuel power boilers and associated auxiliary and pollution control equipment.
You will Apply and interpret information in detailed blueprints, charts, and sketches to assist in the adjustment, replacement, and repair of equipment.
You will Monitors all equipment to maintain efficiency and control formation of pollutants including constant observation of flow meters and charts.
You will Use stationary and industrial type power equipment such as power saws, lathes, and grinders.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to do the work of an Utilities Systems Repairer Operator without more than normal supervision as demonstrated by performing the following tasks: 1) Performing limited diagnostic checks on electronic control devices to determine sources of malfunctions of power boilers; and 2) Using specialized test equipment such as pyrometers, ohmmeters, and flow meters to expeditiously troubleshoot and accurately identify problems; and 3) Operating equipment in a safe manner, applying established safety rules and regulations.
