The Role

Meet and exceed the shift productivity goals of the plant. Follow all lock out tag out procedures before working on or cleaning equipment. Understanding of FIFO requirements.

  • Work with sanitation manager to develop and improve Master Sanitation Schedule

  • General sanitation and cleaning and maintaining proper GMP's for site

  • Become certified to operate a forklift in order to complete routine tasks in a safe manner. Also operate aerial lift and material movement equipment.

  • Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager

  • Help manage waste removal from the site and ensure all documentation for disposal is maintained according to Mars standards.

  • Assist in managing waste and recycle streams for the site.

  • Responsible for quality and food safety.

Qualifications - External

  • Must have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education by an accredited school.

  • Must follow all safety and health guidelines of the plant.

  • Be 18 years of age or older.

  • Must be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules.

  • Ability to understand and communicate in the English language.

  • Good basic math, reading and writing skills.

  • Good communication skills

Lead by example - maintain an environment of respect but create a sense of urgency


Physical/Environmental

Requirements:
  • Standing on a concrete floor

  • Wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) safety shoes, bump cap, uniform, earplugs

  • Bending, Stooping, twist, turn or standing for extended time periods

  • Able to reach, climb and lift.

  • Must be able to lift 52 lbs repetitively

  • Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust, dirt and chemicals.

  • Must be able to work in confined spaces

  • Must be able to work at heights

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience operating a variety of machines

  • 2 years of work experience within manufacturing, or a technical and/or trade discipline

  • Working Knowledge of food safety, GMP, GHOP, HACCP, SPC

  • Knowledge of inventory control principles

  • Ability to operate a forklift/OSHA certification

Experience with SAP

From your first day with us, you will have a direct impact on the safety and protection of the local communities where we live and work. We are currently hiring throughout Custer County, OK. The starting pay for this position is $13.50 per hour. Our technicians spend their workdays on the go, working independently in the field using their company provided vehicle. You will utilize our state of the art ticket and claims management systems to ensure clear and complete mark-out services for the excavator or property owner at the work site. Your Responsibilities as a Locator: You will be responsible for the correct, safe and efficient locating of underground utilities including: telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water and sewer systems Taking time to thoroughly search for underground utilities in an area, properly marking the location, completing the necessary paperwork and photographing each locate You'll be working outdoors in all types of weather conditions and use a company provided laptop to document and close all tickets. We have a 48-hour turnaround time on all locates, which means we generally work the day after holidays and some weekends, as needed. These are daytime, full-time positions and overtime will be required. Instructor led training will be provided. No prior locating experience is necessary.
