Utility Operator (Water Department)

Performs service tasks in the installation, repair and maintenance of the water utility supply, treatment, storage, distribution, collection, and metering system to maintain proper standards in quality and quantity. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Water & Wastewater Utility Lead Operators.The operator will assist with performing all duties associated with the operation of a municipal water system, plant maintenance, contractors, engineers, shop work, office work, public relations and will possess a working knowledge of Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS), Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).Salary range is $30.31 to $31.66/hour DOQ, plus full benefits.
