Use your culinary skills to serve individuals in the Western Massachusetts community on the road to recovery from addiction!
Join our team of competent and caring professionals as a Cook at Behavioral Health Network in Springfield, MA! As a Cook, you will adhere to kitchen compliance standards set forth by the Department of Public Health, prepare nutritious and healthy meals for clients, maintain a clean and sanitary environment in which to prepare food, and transport food to other sites as needed. Indirectly related to the individuals we serve, Cooks use appropriate means of conveying written client/program information needed by other staff to perform their duties in the best interests of the individuals, complete documentation in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner, and report program-specific safety and maintenance concerns in addition to other duties requested by the supervisor. As a Cook, you will get the opportunity to work independently, learn to manage a food budget, do menu planning, and learn to maintain a kitchen to DPH standards and regulations.
At Behavioral Health Network's Hope Center, we believe in the unique strengths, skills, and empowerment of the individual to motivate their treatment and recovery in our 30-day detoxification and stabilization services.
