In this role you will be responsible for site utility maintenance and utility related capital projects. Candidate will also be the point of contact for contractor coordination for utility equipment and plant support equipment, (e.g. fire protection system, emergency power, etc.)
Coordination of service providers
Planning and scheduling preventive maintenance activities
Provide relevant project information for purchasing (e.g. quotations, shopping carts, etc.)
Responsible for execution of expense / capital projects related to utilities
Support for various support and production departments
Planning and managing of projects in tire plants related to energy efficiency
Safety related topics (e.g. art flash, life safety equipment, annual inspections and testing, etc.)
Maintenance reliability improvement
SAP for employee management and work order implementation
Building management system
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5 years experience or 9 years equivalent combination of related education and experience
Proficient in MS office, ability to learn company standard programs
Knowledge of local related codes (OSHA/NEC/ASME/NFPA/Building)
Project management experience
Adaptability to other cultures, and capability to negotiate and to operate in different cultures
Ability to understand utility related services contracts
Driven, analytical thinking, and results oriented
Willingness to travel
Good problem solving abilities
