• Researches, identifies, and makes recommendations aboutresources required for task execution and completion.

• Writes and updates project documentation including processes, procedures, and presentations.

• Provides guidance and work leadership to less experienced staff and may have supervisory responsibilities.

• Executes acquisition requirements in accordance with DoD 5000 series instructions.

• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas, and research new and upcoming technologies.

• Provides support for planning, organizing, and implementing all acquisition activities.

• Provides in-depth analysis on strategic planning, resourcing, fielding, and sustainment.

• Assists in the development, delivery, monitoring, and verification of task completion.

• Applies knowledge of the defense acquisition process in the analysis and improvement of internal policy and procedures.

• Devises strategies for deploying and implementing new initiatives and measures the effectiveness of implementation.

• Tracks programmatic issues and risks to ensure they are addresses in acquisition documentation and assists with the development of status updates and briefs to program office leadership and external stakeholders.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Working knowledge of DoD Instructions 5000.2 - Operation of the Defense Acquisition System.

• Demonstrated experience with HQMC, CD&I, and PMO staff.

• Demonstrated experience with DoD planning, programming, budgeting, scheduling and process execution.

• Operational experience supporting USMC C4ISR systems.

• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to self-start and multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

• Bachelor's degree in communications, business administration, computer science, operations research, management information science, or related field.

• Relevant experience in telecommunications, data processing, or information technology is desired.

• PMP and/or Scrum Master certifications desired.
