Overview

The User Support Analyst position will provide front-line primary technical support to end users on various technical issues and problems relating to hardware, software, and peripherals. Stuller is looking for someone who can conduct tests, analyze results, and report observations to system developers seamlessly. This role will provide quality software development and deployment through automated and manual tests, ensuring the software executes correctly per design and build specifications.

Qualifications

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent GED, with a background in with a background on Computer Science, Informatics, etc.

  • Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.

  • Excellent communication skills to liaison between development, customers, and management.

  • Experience with continuous integration tools and workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Create and document test cases and test plans

  • Execute test scripts/cases to test system modifications to prepare for implementation

  • Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing

  • Evaluate and escalate problem situations to system business analysts, developers, project managers, while also presenting potential solutions.

  • Perform root cause analysis

  • Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes

  • Maintain history of known defects

  • Participate in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements and potential solutions

  • Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness

  • Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes

Skills

  • Up-to-date knowledge of software, test scripts, testing methodologies

  • Working knowledge of scripting / programming

  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset

VIEW JOBS 2/13/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-05-14T00:00 Location: WHITNEY Employment Status: FT SUMMARY: Decision Support uses clinical, financial, and statistical data to provide leadership with analysis and tools needed to support the organization's decision making and financial planning through the use of a fully integrated decision support system. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Responsible for and assist other entities with the completion of the System consolidated annual budget, including the preparation of budget reports and presentations. 2. Prepare daily/monthly statistical reports utilized in maintaining, tracking and monitoring key operational statistical measures for the System. 3. Design and develop clinical and financial reports that assist leaders in data gathering and departmental analysis and/or strategic planning to help achieve goals and objectives. 4. Develops, prepares and presents reports for budgeting, cost accounting, productivity, and other ad hoc projects as requested. 5. Assists in maintaining the cost accounting system, including auditing and cleansing data, updating tables, and developing cost standards and methodologies as requested. 6. Reports to Director and informs them of project progress, problems, or schedule slippage. 7. Participates as a team member in order to coordinate resources, provide assistance and support and help set project priorities. 8. Assists in identifying and implementing process improvements/opportunities to ensure departmental and organizational operational efficiency, effectiveness and reliability of system data and reports. Ensures that data integrity, system performance and user satisfaction standards are met or surpassed. 9. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system problems in a timely fashion. 10. Ability to adapt easily to new concepts, with the ability to work independently while handling multiple projects simultaneously. EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: A. Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. Other degrees/experience may be considered. B. Minimum two-year hospital decision support experience preferred. C. Minimum three year accounting or finance experience required. D. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoints and other software used by LGH. E. Excellent communication skills to interact with leadership at all levels F. Self-motivated, highly organized professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. EQUIPMENT OPERATED: Computer PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Medium Work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor constitutes a maximum lift of 21-50 pounds on occasion and/or a maximum lift of 11-25 pounds on a frequent basis Work involves sitting, standing, walking and bending Work environment is indoors Lafayette General Health Lafayette LA
