Description: Directs the development of company digital marketing programs.

Manages the research, analysis, and monitoring of financial, technological and demographic factors, and designs marketing plans to capitalize on market opportunities. Develops awareness and understanding of demand and develops marketing creation initiatives to capitalize on opportunities. Directs overall digital strategy relating to usability, functions/features and customer interface from a marketing perspective.

Develops strategies identifying and creating new content for the company website and works with product, content and/or creative personnel to implement solutions. Oversees management of vendor relationships, digital usage, and trends and forms online content partnerships to promote usage. Represents consumer and marketing point of view, and provides direction to the development team for implementation and testing of all new function/features.

Provides oversight on customer prospect. Provides oversight of digital operations and makes recommendations/solutions to operational issues (e.g. web outages, ensuring web site compliance, etc). May direct advertising programs both online and offline. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Essential Functions:

Contributes to overall department objectives/goals based on global knowledge of industry and organizational strategic issues.

Proactively identifies key business/segment issues.

Creates justification and makes recommendations/decisions on allocation of Digital Marketing resources.

Provides management oversight and serves as subject matter/technical expert on multiple complex business processes.

Presents key strategic findings&recommendations to Health Plan, PMG and other senior leadership.

Hire, assess, coach and develop individual contributor staff; provide consistent orientation; create and model a coaching culture that supports continuous career growth and development at all levels.

Model the competencies of a superior manager; develop career plans.

Provide operational management; mmonitor organization/business performance metrics and act when needed.

Develop a culture of collaboration and accountability between other marketing functions and other key internal partners.

Implement continuous quality improvement programs.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience

Minimum five (5) years of content/functional experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics, or related field required.

License, Certification, Registration

Thorough knowledge of policies, practices and systems.

Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.

Considered functional expert in field within KP.

Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods.

Employs expertise as a generalist or specialist.

Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum seven (7) years of content/functional experience preferred.

Health care industry experience preferred.

Digital technology experience preferred.

Master's degree preferred.

Members of the UX team must understand both the business and the technical aspects of the Web and mobile applications. They need to understand business stakeholders' perspectives and the end-user's needs. Being able to bridge both the business and technical areas of KP, and to fully understand the different languages used and processes employed, is critical to the success of this team. This team evangelizes the user perspective in the design and development activities for Kaiser Permanente's entire digital presence. Through a combination of influence and standards, they define the online user experience that will produce optimal results. Essential Responsibilities: Applies designs and interaction patterns to KP.org features and architectures in conjunction with development teams. Provides basic support for development of features based on existing design patterns during discussions with the project team and creation of stimuli. Creates and documents basic designs and patterns based on business needs and user research (Maintains the Design Pattern Library). Develops solutions to a diverse range of minor problems, which require creativity and innovation. Requires in-depth analysis to identify and recommend new solutions for more complex problems. Provides routine fact-based information. May communicate with outside vendors to arrange services. Integrates with project teams to support interaction design. Basic Qualifications: Experience Minimum two (2) years of web and/or application design experience. Education Bachelor's degree in related field OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field. High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
