What does a great User Experience Designer do?
As a User Experience Designer with Fiserv, you will work directly and collaboratively with the Bank Solutions UI Development and User Experience Research teams to design software that is both usable and appealing. Work in a dynamic environment, stay current with UX design principles, understand the full experience design cycle, and are a motivation for innovation. If you have experience designing complex systems for both B2B and B2C users and are looking to make a significant market impact, then we want you to join our team!
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
5 + years of UX design experience
Expertise in UX software such as Sketch, InVision and Adobe CC (XD, Photoshop and Illustrator)
Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Travel required: up to 5%
Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:
A solid UX design process experience focused on outcomes.
Experience designing software within an Agile SDLC.
Experience in UX design methodologies to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
Ability to collaborate and communicate closely with teams and other partners in a distributed model.
Strong intuition and a natural ability to empathize with different people.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to persuade others of your good ideas.
Working experience in collaborative fashion, on user experience design activities throughout the software development life cycle, often with numerous initiatives occurring concurrently.
A constant thirst to learn and grow. Willingness to share knowledge and experience with the team and learn from them.
Ability to gracefully give and receive critical feedback.
Awareness of how to make things happen within an organization.
Proficiency with Sketch, InVision or other design or prototyping tools.
Knowledge and experience in Information Architecture, User Interface Design and Visual Design along with related best practices.
