Overview

User Experience Designer I is responsible for participating in user research, creating mock-ups and observing usability testing under the supervision of an experienced User Experience Designer.

Responsibilities

  • Iterate low fidelity mock-ups, working with Development teams and Product Owners

  • Observe Usability Testing sessions

  • Partcipate in interviews, observations, and surveys to develop user personas and use cases as part of user research and data gathering

  • Adhere to UI guidelines

Qualifications

  • Up to 5% travel time required

  • Organized and able to focus on managing tasks to completion

  • Good collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas

  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Demonstrated knowledge of user-centered design principles

  • Experience using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop Illustrator

  • Driven to learn and stay current professionally

  • Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact

Responsibilities Total Brand Experience * Enthusiastically promote the brand by being an ambassador for Carhartt and leading others to do the same. * Support execution of the strategy that brings to life the ultimate retail consumer experience. * Uphold the Carhartt brand Image at all times and ensure all associates do the same. * Cultivate an environment of genuine consumer connection by being highly focused on delivering exceptional consumer experiences that are engaging, efficient, and personalized. * Support the Store Leaders with telling the Carhartt story at the retail store level by executing on consumer experience program initiatives. * Support Store Leaders with planning, and execute on Visual Merchandising and Visual Standards, to ensure product is properly displayed.
