Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking a User Experience Designer who will be responsible for design, development, documentation, debugging, and support of the user interface to optimize user experience.

What we are looking for:

Experience: 2 years' user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar/relevant experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree Interaction Design, New Media Design, HCI, related field of study, or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college

  • Strong technical writing experience to communicate tech specifications

  • Project management and agile experience

  • Forward thinking with a vision

  • Experience with web or portal features and functions

Your day may look like:

  • Articulates, develops, and models the end user experience. Creates process flows, prototypes, wireframes, and/or visual designs.

  • Assesses and optimizes the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in usability testing, user research, and interpreting analytical data.

  • Collaborate in the design and creation of the user-facing components (interface).

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop use cases and requirements.

  • Defines, develops, and maintains detailed user-interface specifications.

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to assure brand alignment across customer touch points.

  • Responsible for ongoing website content and functionality administration.

  • Plans and conducts usability research projects, including working sessions, walkthroughs, surveys, interviews, for focus groups.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

We also like you to have:

  • Experience with provider community and operations

  • Experience with Provider contracts and requirements

  • Compliance requirements (CMS, IDHW) and how we meet requirements

  • SharePoint knowledge

  • Analytic experience

  • Curious mindset and investigative intuition
