The User Acceptance Testing Analyst will plan, monitor, and control testing activities and tasks. This position will also be responsible for performing regression testing and may assist business users with testing customizations. The UAT Analyst will work with business analysts and business users to learn system requirements and workflows, devise test objectives, strategies and plans, and work with business users to develop and execute appropriate test cases for thorough quality assurance of the application. The User Acceptance Testing Analyst will work with the project team to ensure the test environment is put into place before test execution, and managed during test execution. This position will schedule tests for execution, then monitor, measure, control, and report on the test progress, the product quality status, and the test results. They will also coordinate issues resolution with business analysts and make recommendations for quality assurance process improvement.
3-5 years of experience in application test case development and test planning, coordination, and execution.
Experience as a quality assurance analyst or business analyst.
Good communication skills and a proven ability to work well with both business and technology staff.
Ability to quickly understand key business requirements and workflows and ensure test cases reflect all business scenarios.
Attention to detail and ability to clearly document defects.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Ability to assist with quality assurance testing and data validation.
Experience with financial services software applications is a plus.
A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, although relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of an appropriate degree at management's discretion.
