We are looking for an exceptional leader to build the Program Management team for the creative studio at Google Cloud. You will develop the right process, workflow and systems from the ground up so that our creative teams can innovate do the best work of their careers. Your growing team will work with our creative team, brand managers product marketers and all relevant stakeholders, to be the point of contact and day-to-day driver of all projects in the creative studio. You will be a protector of our brand and the go to person for getting work done in a fast paced environment. You will be a key leader in managing our creative operations in conjunction with our leadership team.

  • Be in charge of managing the day-to-day flow of the Creative Studio. Design and build the systems, processes and tools to track time, budget and dashboards for all current projects and to use data to help manage future projects and team growth.

  • Help implement and advocate our system to review briefs and make it easy for all internal stakeholders to get great work done quickly while ensuring that all roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.

  • Ensure that our teams are working on project allocations that fit within our current resource mix. Work with our partners to prioritize projects and manage expectations. Partner with the Head of Talent Management to solve gaps in staffing and red-flag resource issues.

  • Brief teams and make sure everything is delivered on schedule. Work cross-functionally with all stakeholders to educate and help them be successful. Help run and manage a transparent production schedule for all to see.

  • Be the backbone that connects our creative staff with our key stakeholders. Offer feedback respectfully that makes our work on strategy and budget and delivers on the promise of our brand. Be a voice of reason that makes sure our work delivers the exceptional storytelling bar we must always strive to achieve.


Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of program management experience, with a blend of agency and in house experience.

  • Experience in Program Management best-practices at a matrixed organization and experience training your team in those practices.

  • Experience in team building within an organization.

  • A portfolio of work youve delivered across your career.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proven experience working for creative brands both consumer and B2B.

  • A patient, thoughtful and compassionate team player with a proven history of bringing high quality work on time and on budget.

  • Ability to thrive in a rapid paced environment on multiple projects in a large company atmosphere.

  • Ability to work on a global scale across many internal stakeholders with varying degrees of experience with visual storytelling and the production of digital and experiential assets.

  • Outstanding organizational, negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

What You'll Do Here: As a member of Creative Studio, part of the Global Production group, the Creative Program Coordinator will primarily be responsible for managing creative projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Working closely with the Creative Studio, Product, and Content Delivery teams, you will support and collaborate cross-functionally in managing workflows that create design media assets for Cengage products, and for internal teams. We use design to enhance the learning experience, to intrigue and involve our end users in the acquisition of knowledge. We are a group of talented, engaged, life-long learners who are constantly expanding our skill sets and technical knowledge to promote creativity and innovative design in a supportive, yet demanding environment The Creative Program Coordinator helps manage Creative Studio resources by using a variety of project management software tools to achieve the best workflow, schedules, and greatest efficiency. The position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, and will include developing new workflows, processes, and documentation, to allow our team to focus on producing excellent creative work. * Help manage multi-faceted projects, including tracking, and scheduling * Partner with the Creative Studio management to ensure the teams have the information and connections they need to succeed * Ensure proper resource forecasting for all projects * Proactively assist with problem solving, information gathering, and distribution * Support training activities, planning, and scheduling with a skills roadmap for staff * Establish communication structure across the design team including best practices for meeting facilitation, sharing updates, and connecting with cross-functional teams * Facilitate meetings as needed, preparing agendas, keeping conversation on-track, and establishing action items and owners * Work with Creative Studio Staff, Content Managers, and Product Managers to establish deadlines that impact design work and ensure team is aware of key milestone dates, establish a predictable workflow * Track and move product/cross-functional initiatives forward that have multiple stakeholders and many moving parts * Provide flexible processes that meet team needs and help keep work on track * Communicate issues related to staying on schedule and propose solutions to remedy the issue * Proactively raise issues before they are a problem for the design team or product output * Create, document, improve digital processes and procedures, best practices, framework libraries, and standards.
