This role will be transitioning from Mountain View to our campus in Redwood City.

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
Google Marketing Solutions sales teams are trusted advisors and competitive sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer. We are dedicated to developing this expanding business in more than 40 languages globally and leveraging Googles advertising solutions to make them successful online. In a scalable way, we are responsible for growing GMS Sales advertising growth by educating, providing solutions and consulting with agencies directly. Our teams of strategists, analysts, advisers and support specialists collaborate closely to spot and analyze customer needs and trends. Together, we create and implement business plans broadly for all types of businesses.
Deliver against assigned quota, while prioritizing and delivering outstanding customer business experience to Google's advertisers.
Implement creative ways to improve our Agency relationships, tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions, and promote other Google products.
Communicate with Agencies proactively, via phone and email.
Provide strategic advice and help Agencies get the best ROI on their clients advertising investment by working closely with them in a consultative role.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.
Ability to manage a sales portfolio, experience working against an assigned quota.
Ability to employ sales techniques including: effective questioning, objection handling, competitive selling.
Ability to develop thought leadership abilities and industry expertise. Ability to influence executive stakeholders.
A proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
Expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns.
