As part of the Retail Marketing team, you will join a team of retail specialists, creatives, experience designers, producers, product marketers, go-to-market strategists and brand managers whose mission it is to fundamentally change how people shop. Guiding your team's search for how to bring innovation and fresh thinking to retail environments is the question: "What if Google was a place?". You may be responsible for managing retail executions, both online and offline, for Google products such as Pixel, Google Home, Google wearables and more. Regularly, you provide guidance to retail partners on how to best bring Google ecosystems to life in retail environments.
As a UX Designer on the Global Retail Marketing team, you will join a group of retail specialists, creatives, experience designers, producers, product marketers and brand managers whose mission it is to fundamentally change how people shop.
The Digital Experience team within Retail Marketing concepts, designs, executes and supervises best-in-class experiences for our online and in-store properties, and the UX Designer works closely with the Creative Lead to bring strategic thinking and a strong focus on the user to help guide and elevate our digital storytelling.

Take ownership of one or more parts of the user experience: mapping user journeys and designing interactions and interfaces.
Create documentation (including design rules, pixel perfect mocks, prototypes) that fosters a delightful user experience.
Participate in user experience research and usability studies.
Participate in regular design reviews and other team-wide design efforts.
Execute against multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and deliver strategically sound, conceptually-based, iconic experiences.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience at a creative interactive agency or in-house interactive team.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch or other web design tools.
Experience (including supporting examples) with conveying concepts through wireframes, flows and mockups.
Demonstrated experience (including supporting examples) with distilling complex processes into simple, clear, user interactions.
Fluent in creating quick and dirty prototypes for web and/or mobile app experiences.
Attention to detail and a commitment to putting the user first.
Comfort with generating graphic representations a creative and rich visual language; on-screen graphic design, illustration and data visualization.
Portfolio of digital experiential work.
