USA - Engineering Project Manager I

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role will be pivotal in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex engineering projects that may span multiple product lines. The Engineering Project Manager will also be responsible for financial aspects of product development, including capital expenditures and cross-functional expenses. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage cross-functional engineering projects, demonstrating the ability to adapt and modify standard engineering principles.

• Utilize strong communication skills to effectively manage a matrix team.

• Independently plan, execute, and direct complex engineering projects, utilizing innovative approaches to problem-solving.

• Oversee the financial aspects of product development, including managing project costs, capital expenditures, and cross-functional expenses.

• Apply independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of various engineering techniques.

• Manage direct supervision of team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

• Identify and resolve complex problems, demonstrating the ability to develop new design experiments without supervision.

• Maintain up to date knowledge of multiple disciplines within the engineering field.

• Manage project plan, ensuring the successful execution and completion of projects.

• Demonstrate strong principles in planning, supervising, expense reporting, and capital management. Requirements

• Proficient in planning and supervising engineering projects

• Experience in expense reporting and capital management

• Strong engineering skills and knowledge of principles involved in product development

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues

• Ability to execute project plans and manage direct supervision

• Proficiency in using USA Cedar.AI for project cost management

• Understanding of financial aspects of project management

• Ability to exercise independent judgment and adaptation skills

• Familiarity with design controls and matrix management

• Experience in managing modifications in engineering projects
