The Field Marketing Leader manages Mercer's U.S. field marketing team with direct line management for all team members. The field marketing team is geography aligned and works closely with sales and business leadership in the local offices to develop strategies, align resources, and execute marketing initiatives that build market presence and drive revenue growth.

This position can be located anywhere in the United States.

The position requires an experienced, innovative B2B marketer with demonstrated skills in successful development of locally developed and executed marketing strategies, team leadership, and strategic advisory of senior business and sales leaders. The Field Marketing Leader will sit on the North America Marketing Leadership team to influence the development of campaigns at all stages, and will partner across all marketing groups to drive effective integration of field tactics into strategy, manage deployment, and then track results.

Strong capabilities in leadership, coaching, budget management, and project management required. Champion brand development and embodiment in live events and digital channels. Apply business acumen through financial and data analysis to ensure smart decision making and resource deployment. Strong business acumen, effective sales partnership, automated marketing systems experience, and a data-driven approach preferred.

We are seeking associate consultants for the multi-channel marketing (MCM) advanced analytics team. Successful candidates will leverage their analytical skillset in areas such as statistical analysis, econometric modeling, data mining, reporting and optimization to relate sales and marketing activities to financial results. Through true collaboration with client and partner teams, the successful candidate acquires, massages, cleanses and structures data from multiple sources to deliver key analytics-based insights to drive business decisions. Additional responsibilities include… * Collaborate with project leads and clients to gather business requirements * Translate client business problems into analytical problems, and recommend data and analytical approaches to address business problems / issues * Work with project leads to define project scope and develop analysis approach * Extract and process large quantities of data from databases and other data marts in support of assignments * Use data extraction, manipulation, and interpretation to provide useful, actionable insights * Help create and analyze meaningful performance reports / analytic output as per the requirements and instructions * Under direction of consultants, conduct analyses using analytic techniques such as; statistical analysis (test vs. control); statistical / econometric modeling; customer segmentation and targeting; and ROI analysis * Report results of statistical analyses, including information in the form of graphs, charts, tables and other visualizations (including client-facing dashboards) * Implement solutions and provide recommendations that drive results for client campaigns and larger business objectives Skills/Requirements * Master's degree in statistics, business analytics, mathematics, economics, or engineering, or other quantitative field required * 2-3 years of experience in executing analytics assignments * 1+ year experience in quantitative digital marketing arena * Background of working with pharmaceutical and/or healthcare data is a plus * Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel & Power Point) and Tableau * Intermediate hands-on programming skills in R, Python and/or SAS * Keen attention to detail and track record of delivering high-quality analyses * Strong oral and written communication skills * Solid experience using statistical concepts, modeling and experimental design * Self-discipline to plan ahead and organize tasks to meet deadlines * Experience with customer databases and data integration techniques * Experience presenting quantitative results is a plus * Proficiency in at least one digital marketing channel (Email, Mobile Alerts, Search, Social, Display, etc.) The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of analytic industry issues and trends, and have an understanding or strong desire to learn about businesses in the pharmaceutical / healthcare vertical.
