The Content Marketing Manager provides marketing leadership in the messaging development, process ensures timelines are met, and content highlights differentiating features, shopper insight and market trends. This position requires a highly organized individual with excellent communication, go-to-market and project management skills and the ability to influence and drive process improvements across multiple touch points.
Manage all marketing content for Consumer Notebooks, Desktops, All-in-Ones and Gaming in the North America region.
Provide product expertise in the development of marketing assets including messaging, photography and digital/mobile content. Thought leader for content optimization in an omni-channel future.
Responsible for product datasheet creation for all consumer computing products in North America;
Ensure content accurately reflects approved messaging, branding, photography, software and specs
Collaborating with marketing team in the development of materials for customer planning events; influence content to reflect market trends, regional roadmap and product priorities
Partnering with customer market insight, shopper marketing, retail marketing and sales teams to support product sell-in.
Liaison with regional and country marketing teams on campaign development to ensure offers embody product and channel strategy.
Education and Experience Required:
5+ years consumer electronics/consumer technology marketing experience.
Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree or Master's (graduate) degree in Marketing or Marketing Communications.
Proven track record of identifying and developing exceptional marketing deliverables and customer messages.
Passionate about technology, with product management, marketing or communications experience. Interested in content delivery tools and technologies.
Collaborative team player with a proven track record for identifying, gaining support, and implementing process improvements.
Very strong written and communication skills.
Well organized, independent, highly motivated, seasoned marketing professional with excellent project management and interpersonal skills.
Able to lead and drive process improvements in a complex organizational structure.
Video and photo creation/editing skills are not required but a valuable asset.
Knowledge and Skills:
Highly knowledgeable of product/solution family and the business needs of the target customers.
7 years experience in product marketing fundamentals.
Demonstrated knowledge of general marketing function either through education or work experience.
