Description

The entire consumer banking industry is undergoing a tremendous amount of change as clients rapidly change their behaviors from in-person interactions to digital and mobile interactions. It is critical for the success of Citi's Consumer Bank that we meet and exceed our current and future client expectations for digital banking. That won't happen on its own; it will require a dedicated team to deliver great digital experiences built upon insights from analytics and a streamlined execution process. This is the moment in time when our 200 year old company is being transformed, led by digital innovation and customer centricity.

The US Consumer Analytics organization is responsible for leading the evolution of our US Consumer Bank's mission to revolutionize our approach to data by creating a vision, setting a strategy and managing delivery of data and analytic insights that will accelerate digital innovation and consumer business (Branded Cards, Digital, Retail Bank, etc) performance across the US Region.

This role is a key and critical position that is a part of the US Consumer Analytics Leadership team.It will report directly to the head of US Consumer Analytics and serve as a lead for all business management routines, centralized communications, and project manage various strategic deliverables across the organization.This role is critical to helping stand up the future state of the Organization as it has recently brought card, retail bank, mortgage, private bank, and digital analytics and insights analytics teams together under one leader with the intent of becoming one regional team that is product agnostic and client centric.This role will help the US Consumer Analytics leadership team drive progress against goals to become a best in class analytics organization, harnessing the power of data to inform and drive business decisions and enable progress.

The US Consumer Analytics Business Manager will participate in and lead strategic planning and business development activities.He or she will establish best practices and principles for the organization which aligns to the broader US Consumer Bank's vision and mission. Offer consultation to business stakeholders in advance of seeking business head approvals on initiatives and proposals. He or she will manage requests from GCB Executive leadership team including: updates on strategic priorities (i.e. Must Win Battles), commentary on Scorecard variances, weekly performance metric updates and other ad-hoc requests.

Qualifications

  • SVP Level Role requiring experience in global and complex settings with multiple

  • stakeholders

  • Prior work experience in area related to analytics and/or strategy consulting

  • Ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures

  • Demonstrated success in managing deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressures

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - will interact with senior leadership

  • Ability to demonstrate a good level of planning and execution of medium range and long

  • term strategic plans.

  • Demonstrated capability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with business

  • front office and global functions colleagues

  • Proven ability to conduct research/analysis, organize findings and build presentations

  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills

  • Educational Level: Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree in quantitative
