4 year(s) in progressive roles performing IT system/software or data development and project management processes.

  • Data Modeling Concepts;

  • Data Management Development Frameworks;

  • Basic Extract, Load, and Transform Techniques;

  • SQL Development Basics;

  • SDLC activities in custom developed and packaged applications with exposure to:

  • Use Case Driven Requirement Methods;

  • Business Use Case development;

  • Programme Business Increment/User Story Development;

  • Agile;

  • Software testing methods and techniques; and,

  • Test management tools: ALM or Microsoft Test Manager.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader and leader in the following areas:

  • Documenting business data-related requirements so that they are unambiguous, consistent and not in contradiction with each other;

  • Applying analytical skills to determine and document accurate business requirements and present these requirements in a manner that is concise, measurable and flexible enough to meet project and stakeholder needs;

  • Understanding the business implications of the application of data to the current business environment and preparing specific requirements from which applications can be developed;

  • Understanding and applying data extraction/transformation, analytics and visualization approaches; leveraging Business Intelligence software (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, etc.);

  • Displaying a curious and investigative mind towards data and analysis and storytelling;

  • Analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary are included in this role;

  • Creating and managing user stories that the internal data engineering and quality management teams will use to develop solutions;

  • Coordinating with business stakeholders to establish engineering products that are developed are adequately tested against agreed upon success criteria;

  • Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while quickly adapting to changing priorities or roles; and

  • Managing a technical landscape to stay relevant to customers and competitive with the external environment.
