  • Possessing working knowledge of information lifecycle management, data and information governance and management, and data protection and information risk management;

  • Displaying team management skills and relationship-building;

  • Working with client service/consulting professionals as well as senior leaders;

  • Displaying project management skills; and,

  • Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing across a global, multi-cultural and lingual organization.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in roles involving, the use of technology related to data and information, emphasizing the following areas:

  • Documenting functional and technical requirements that reflect identified business issues or problems to-be solved;

  • Researching, documenting and articulating research results;

  • Interviewing stakeholders, gathering data and summarizing results;

  • Developing project plans and templates, including the identification of project phases

  • Analyzing project schedules and performing project plan maintenance to incorporate updates and changes to the master project plan;

  • Preparing reports and presentations at project and executive levels;

  • Influencing leaders and helping them understand data and the value of quality, governed data;

  • Delivering data quality improvement, audit, and/or process monitoring programs and projects with large number of stakeholders;

  • Developing metrics to monitor data quality and/or business processes;

  • Utilising process improvement methodologies to identify areas for enhancement and promote business process efficiencies;

  • Seeking out different ways to use current and relevant technological advances to keep up with, and stay ahead of, new developments and ideas, especially to advance network data quality management and process performance visibility;

  • Demonstrating functional expertise in business analysis, process mapping and development, and documentation experience to solve business problems, deliver necessary results, and understand how the work performed is associated with other initiatives;

  • Exhibiting knowledge of data quality and issue management and/or data risk management concepts;

  • Building relationships with the data leader community, understanding their key challenges and working with subject matter experts to address those concerns;

  • Staying abreast of emerging trends and relevant technologies, as well as seeking opportunities to implement new ideas;

  • Developing data strategies surrounding the use of client, internal, and third party data;

  • Developing data strategies articulating responsible and ethical use of data;

  • Conducting business analysis as required to facilitate implementation of the data strategies;

  • Conducting and documenting business and process analysis as required for development of data strategies and associated documents and deliverables;

  • Authoring, coordinating and publishing policies, standards and guidance that articulate data strategies and controls;

  • Assisting with the development of data strategy associated with the lifecycle and retention of data, then develop and publish applicable policies, standards, or guidelines; and,

  • Developing and implementing methodologies to measure compliance with data strategies.
