Clinical Psychologist: As a Clinical Psychologist at the Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital, you will:
Perform psychological and bio-psychosocial evaluations, using expert knowledge of general and specific concepts, principles, procedures, and practices relating to clinical psychology.
Screen and interview patients.
Formulate behavioral health interventions appropriate to a primary care setting and assist with implementation and monitoring of treatment plans.
Identify, adapt, and apply empirically supported, evidence-based interventions to a broad range of problems presenting in primary care.
Plan, develop, and provide lifestyle classes, to include educational and skill-building classes that enhance health and improve functioning.
As a primary care team member, provide high level expertise in human behavior to develop specific clinical pathways or best practice programs for targeted patient groups (e.g., patients with acute stress symptoms and PTSD).
Provide continuous consultation services for a sub-set of patients who require on-going monitoring and follow-up (i.e., continuity consultations).
