URC Administrative Director

SUMMARY

Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the URC on behalf of Red Rock BHS. Will understand all rules and regulations for URC and coordinates with agencies outside agencies including ODMHSAS as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assures compliance with contractual agencies or legal requirements of program

• Works as liaison with community agencies and referral sources, representing Red Rock BHS and initiating strong cooperative linkage with possible resources.

• Attends community and State meetings as required

• Maintains a positive working relationship with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS)

• Maintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment

• Attends staff meetings, workshops, and seminars to learn agency policy, rules, regulations, and procedures; participates in on-going in-service training as well as pertinent external training

• Assists in the development and implementation of programmatic goals and objective

• Oversees, manages, and maintains scheduling for Red Rock BHS URC assuring 24/7 coverage

• On call 24/7 for program supervision

• Assists sites in making program changes based on stakeholder input

• Collaborates with other URCs, Transportation and Mobile/Inpatient Crisis Services

• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree

• At least one year experience in the Mental Health field

• Excellent verbal written communication skills

• Ability to flex schedule if needed

• Commitment to the mission of Red Rock BHS

• Two years of direct experience in Mental Health field preferred

• One year of supervisory experience preferred
