Quality Assurance Supervisor

Candidate must have a background in tailoring and expertise on techniques to restore garments. Must be able to work in a warehouse environment. Inventory consists of women's clothing for a subscription rental service. Alteration/Tailoring Specialist's focus is to repair these garments to their intended quality and look, while exhibiting a sense of urgency to complete repairs in a timely manner. Garment damages will vary and may need hand sewing and/or machine sewing. Candidate should be a motivated team player with a positive attitude and possess good organizational and communication skills. Individual should be able to function well in a multi-task environment with attention to detail, and willing to accept new and diverse assignments. Candidate must be able to work with all organizational levels including fellow-employees, customers and management.
Experience in hand sewing techniques for a variety of fixes
Knowledge of garment construction
Basic computer skills
Solid understanding of safety regulations
Great communication and interpersonal abilities
Keen eye for detail and quality
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment
Upholds and maintains an organized workspace
Maintain/exceed productivity standards
Maintains a positive attitude and flexibility
Uses scanning devices
Must be able to work overtime as required
All other duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager
Proven experience as a tailor
Works well under pressure and time constraints
Dependable, works with a sense of urgency
Basic math skills
